Smrithi means “good memories,” and I strive to imbue my designs with the essence of my name.
My journey into design
Art has always been at the heart of my journey. As a child, I told stories through bold, vibrant oil pastels in my sketchbook. Today, with a B.S. in Cognitive Science and Human-Computer Interaction, I translate these stories into thoughtful designs that anticipate user emotions and behaviors, creating experiences that are both delightful and memorable.

My professional journey took a pivotal turn during my undergraduate studies, where a UX Design class shifted my focus from a traditional Computer Science path to the world of user experience. Previously, I taught public speaking in high school, fostering a deep love for storytelling and the power of narrative. Simultaneously, my minor in Computer Science honed my problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

These experiences—bridging artistic storytelling with technical problem-solving—define my approach to design. I am eager to explore new design opportunities and contribute to impactful projects. I'm particularly interested in the fields of EdTech, Healthcare, and working at the intersection of tech and social good. If you have an opportunity or simply want to discuss design, I’d love to connect. Reach me at smmanick15@gmail.com.

Behind the scenes

When I’m not crafting meaningful user experiences, you can find me curating Pinterest boards, painting landscapes, doing henna for my friends, watching a Studio Ghibli movie, or at the beach. Below are some sneak peeks into my life outside of design.
